President

Chy F Ya

Chy F. Ya has been a member of the Mount Shasta Vista Property Owners Association since December 2015 and is honored to serve as President. He brings decades of leadership, communication, and problem-solving experience to the Board.

For more than 30 years, Chy has worked as a court interpreter and translator for Fresno and Tulare Counties, facilitating clear and accurate communication within the judicial system. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering and a Master’s degree in Project Management, combining technical expertise with strong organizational and leadership skills.

As President, Chy is committed to promoting transparency, fiscal responsibility, and thoughtful decision-making while working collaboratively with fellow board members to serve the best interests of the Association and its members.

Vice President

May Yang

May Yang has been a member of the Mount Shasta Vista Property Owners Association since February 2021 and is honored to serve as Vice President. She is a devoted wife of nearly four decades, a proud mother of six children, and is passionate about serving her community.

May retired after a distinguished career with Fresno County, where she held several positions, including Medical Interpreter, Office Assistant, Admitting Interviewer, Eligibility Worker, and Case Manager with the Department of Behavioral Health. Throughout her career, she worked closely with individuals and families, helping them access essential services with compassion and professionalism. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services.

May is committed to working collaboratively with the Board to promote transparency, responsible leadership, and a strong sense of community for all property owners.

Treasurer

Yong Vang

Yong Vang is honored to serve as Treasurer for the Mount Shasta Vista Property Owners Association. As a Business Coordinator, she brings strong organizational, financial, and administrative skills that support the Board’s commitment to responsible fiscal management and sound decision-making.

Yong enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and especially loves fishing, camping, and traveling. She values community, collaboration, and building positive relationships with fellow property owners. As Treasurer, she is dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, and the long-term financial health of the Association while working alongside the Board to serve the best interests of the community.
