Working Together to Keep Mount Shasta Vista Beautiful

One of the greatest strengths of our community is the willingness of neighbors to work together. Our annual Spring Cleanup Event is a wonderful example of that spirit in action.

This year’s Spring Cleanup was an initiative introduced by our Board President and supported by the Board of Directors. The goal was to provide members with a convenient, organized, and efficient way to clean up their properties while helping preserve the beauty of Mount Shasta Vista.

To ensure the event ran smoothly, the Association carefully planned every detail. Property owner lists were organized by section, allowing volunteers and staff to quickly check in members as they arrived. Thanks to this preparation and the dedication of everyone involved, the event was well organized from start to finish, and we are pleased to report that the event was completed without any issues.

The Association provided 12 dumpsters throughout the community, giving members an opportunity to dispose of approved unwanted items. We were thrilled to serve 217 property owners, making this one of our most successful cleanup events to date.

It was inspiring to see so many members participating and taking pride in improving not only their own properties but our entire community. Every load hauled away helped make Mount Shasta Vista cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all of the property owners who participated, as well as our dedicated volunteers, Board of Directors, and staff. Your teamwork, patience, and commitment made this event a tremendous success.

We would also like to offer a special thank-you to Yreka Transfer for providing the dumpsters and for their outstanding coordination and support throughout the entire cleanup process. Their professionalism, reliability, and partnership played a key role in making this event run efficiently, and we truly appreciate their commitment to serving our community.

Because of the overwhelming success and positive response from our members, we are excited to announce that we plan to host another community cleanup event in November. We encourage all property owners to participate and take advantage of this valuable member service. Additional details, including dates and guidelines, will be shared as the event approaches.

The Mount Shasta Vista Property Owners Association remains committed to providing valuable services that benefit our members and strengthen our community. Together, we are making Mount Shasta Vista a cleaner, safer, and more beautiful place to call home.
